Our Story
WPShout has a rich history of WordPress development education since its launch way back in 2009. From free tutorials and development guides to the flagship course “Up and Running” launched back in 2017, the site has helped thousands of people learn WordPress development.
Since taking over WPShout a couple of years ago, we’ve been planning to continue this educational legacy.
Why We’re Here Now
WordPress has evolved dramatically. The platform of today isn’t the WordPress of 2017 or even 2020. With blocks, Full Site Editing, AI integration, and modern development workflows reshaping everything, we knew it was time for something new.
Instead of just updating old courses, we’ve been working on a vision: creating truly modern WordPress development education that addresses today’s ecosystem and prepares you for tomorrow’s challenges.
We’re starting this journey with our first course, Modern WordPress Fast Track, launching in 2025. It’s built from the ground up to teach WordPress as it exists today – and as it’s headed tomorrow.
